Aguilar offers two series of bass amp heads. The DB Series is a 750 watt hybrid design, offering tube driven tone with EQ control and lots of headroom. The AG Series includes two models: the AG 500, a 500 watt solid state bass amp head with two foot-switchable channels and a fully adjustable saturation circuit, and the AG 500 SC, a lightweight 500 watt solid state bass amp head with four bands of active EQ for the gigging bassist.

Ampeg manufactures a variety of bass amp heads. The Heritage Series is their top of the line bass head manufactured with only the best possible components. Ashdown Engineering offers their Valve, Classic, ABM EVO III, MAG EVO II, and Electric Blue EVO II Series' of bass amp heads. The Valve Series features tube driven tone in three strengths. The Class Series is Ashdown's flagship line of bass head. The ABM EVO III is designed for the rock bassist and features Valve Drive, a 7 band EQ, built-in subharmonics and an on-board compressor. The MAG EVO II is designed for the semi-pro who wants ABM tone at an affordable cost. SWR
SWR manufactures two series' of bass amp heads. The Classic Series includes three models, the first being the SM-1500 bass head, which has two separate power modules providing 1,500 watts, an onboard tube-driven compressor, and an array of tone controls. The SM-500 bass amp head features the original SWR tube preamp and a four-band graphic/semi-parametric EQ. The last model, the SM-900 bass head, provides SWR tube preamp tone with two power modules and, when in the bridged mode, offers the option of 900 watts. It also features two three-band semi-parametric EQs with the ability to be combined into a single six-band configuration. Warwick
Warwick manufactures four different lines of bass amp heads. The ProFet Series includes the ProFet 3.3 bass head with 300 watts of power and a parametric EQ. The ProFet 5.2 is bigger and more powerful than the ProFet 3.2 with 500 watts of power. The X-treme bass head line includes the X-treme 10.1, featuring 1000 watts of MOSFET power and an adjustable onboard compressor, and the X-treme 5.1 bass head, which has a 500 watt power amp and many of the same features that the X-treme 10.1 has. The TubePath line includes the 500 watt TubePath 5.1 and the 1,000 watt TubePath 10.1. Both bass heads include an all-tube preamp, switches for low and high boosts, and rotary controls for bass, treble, and two parametric mids. Hellborg is the last bass head line, and it includes the Hellborg Preamp and Hellborg Power Amps. Kustom
Kustom manufactures Groove and Deep End bass head amplifiers. The Groove bass amp head includes the Groove 1300 HD, featuring 1200 watts, a 9 band active EQ, and bass/mid/high controls with pull-shift functions. The Groove 600 HD offers 600 watts RMS and provides the same features as the Groove Bass 1300 HD with the exception of the EQ shift switches. Mesa Boogie's line of bass amp heads includes five models. The Big Block 750 is a 750 watt bass head with an all-tube tone stack and overdrive, twin fans, and a balanced XLR direct out. The Big Block Titan V-12 is a bigger block version of the Big Block 750 and includes dual inputs, all-tube preamps, and a wide-band harness of treble, mid, and bass controls. Hartke builds bass head amplifiers and offers three models. The HA2500 offers 250-watts to drive small to mid-sized bass rigs. The HA3500a bass amp head includes a selectable passive or active input, tube and solid-state pre-amps, variable compression, 10-band graphic EQ, high/low frequency contour control and a direct XLR output.
