Richmond Blueberry Fiddle Festival
The Sixth Annual Richmond Blueberry Fiddle Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, August 8 & 9. This year their introducing a Fiddle Contest...keep checking for schedule and prize updates. Admission is FREE, with only a one-time parking fee of $5, so you can't possibly get a better deal. Wholesome food at unbelievably low prices will be available, but feel free to bring a picnic. Oregon Olld Time Fiddling Association
OREGON OLD TIME FIDDLERS ASSOCIATION, May 16, 17, 2008, CHEMEKETA COMMUNITY COLLEGE
A contestant must have lived in Oregon six months before the contest. A contestant must be a member of OOTFA but may join as late as the contest but we encourage joining earlier. Each contestant plays a hoedown, a waltz and a tune of choice. Tunes may not be repeated in the second/third rounds. Contestants must register at least 45 minutes before his or her round begins.
