12 String Acoustic Guitars

Taylor Guitar's 300 Series acoustic electric 12 string guitars come in two models, the 354ce, a medium sized Grand Auditorium with powerful sound and the feel of a true 12 string in an intimate body style, and the 355ce, with a smooth venetian cutaway and an Expression System pickup. Both acoustic 12 string guitars come with a Sitka Spruce top, and back and sides of Sapele.

Taylor Guitar's 400 Series acoustic electric 12 string guitars come in two models, the 454ce, a Grand Auditorium 12 string guitar with clarity, brilliance and warmth in a medium-bodied package, and the 455ce, a Jumbo acoustic 12 string model which is a great performer on stage, at the recording studio, or in the warmth of your own home. Both guitars feature Expression System pickups, Sitka Spruce tops, and Ovangkol backs and sides.

Taylor Guitar's 600 Series acoustic electric 12 string guitars come in three models, the 654ce, a Grand Auditorium which gains power and clarity from its synergistic blend of tonewoods, the 655ce, a 12 string acoustic guitar Jumbo model with increased versatility with a cutaway, and the 656ce, a GS 12 string model with a full, lush, and clear sound. All guitars feature Expression System pickups, Sitka Spruce tops, Big Leaf Maple backs and sides, and Pearl "leaf" pattern inlays.

Taylor Guitar's 800 Series acoustic electric 12 string guitars come in three models, the 854ce, a Grand Auditorium model, the 855ce, a 12 string acoustic Jumbo guitar, and the 856ce, a GS 12 string guitar. All guitars feature Expression System pickups, Sitka Spruce tops, Indian Rosewood backs and sides, and Pearl signature pattern inlays.

Taylor Guitar's GA series Grand Auditorium acoustic 12 string guitars come in four models, the GA3-12, with Sapele back and sides, the GA4-12, with Ovangkol back and sides, the GA6-12, with Big Leaf Maple back and sides, and the GA8-12, with Indian Rosewood back and sides. All models feature Grand Auditorium bodies, Sitka Spruce tops, and optional Expression System pickups.

Alvarez's AJ60S-12 is a 12 String Jumbo acoustic guitar with back and sides of maple, and a Solid Englemann Spruce top. This model 12 string acoustic guitar features a Rosewood fingerboard a natural finish.

Alvarez's PJ85SC12DVS is a 12 string Jumbo acoustic electric guitar with Deep Violin Stain finish, and features System 600T MKII electronics. This 12 string acoustic guitar offers great playability and tone. The PJ85SC12DVS guitar features solid rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce top.

Alvarez' FD60S-12 is an acoustic electric 12 string thin Cutaway Dreadnought with System 600T MKII electronics, mahogany back and sides, and solid spruce top. This acoustic 12 string guitar features a Rosewood fingerboard and gold diecast tuning machines.

Washburn Guitars' Southwest Series features two 12-string guitars, the D46SCE12, with B-Band electronics, and the D46S12, which does not come with electronics. These acoustic electric 12 string guitars feature a solid spruce top, quilted ash back and sides, a venetian cutaway, rosewood butterfly bridge, and a rosewood fingerboard with Hopi inlays.

The D10 Series 12 string guitar from Washburn Guitars is constructed of a solid Spruce top, Mahogany sides/back, and Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This 12 string acoustic guitar also features chrome die cast Grover style tuning machines, multi-lam top binding, and new diamond inlaid marquetry rosette.

Washburn Guitars' J28S12DL Jumbo 12 string guitars are known for a full, deep bottom end and balanced hi end response. Kingslight's K41 Baritone Jumbo 12-String acoustic guitar features an Imbuia wood body and a Sitka top, as well as a mahogany neck finished in soft glow tru-oil.

Ryan Guitars' created a 12 string that would redefine the breed, be easy to play, wonderful to hold, and have the acoustic sound and tone that's built into each of Kevin Ryan's instruments. The 12-string option is available on the Nightingale, Cathedral and Mission acoustic guitars.

The Acoustic Gryphon High 12 from Veillette Guitars feature an 18.5" scale length and custom Gr-12 strings (gauges .008" to .042"). The Honduran mahogany back/sides and neck, Sitka spruce top, Pau Ferro bridge and fingerboard result in a tonally balanced, responsive, and beautiful 12 string acoustic guitar.

This slightly downsized version of Veillette Guitars' "Grand" shape strikes a balance between the power of a full-sized acoustic guitar and the balance and response of a 'parlor'-sized instrument. Takamine's EF281S is a 12 string acoustic electric guitar that features a Jumbo 12 string body shape, a Concentric Rings rosette, a solid Spruce top, and Mahogany back and sides.

The J-12 series is a 12 string version of the popular Jumbo-OM model. Like the J-OM, the J-12 combines the power and volume of a large-body guitar with the balance and clarity of a small-body guitar. The large soundboard combined with the shallower body depth provides a huge sound that is extremely well-balanced. It provides a warm expansive bass, with crisp trebles and rich tonal complexity. The shallow body depth with the deep waist makes this guitar much more comfortable to play than typical large body guitars.
