They are based on the classic blackface and brownface American circuits from the 60s, They mix the proven tone and reliability of a brand new amp, with a few new modern features for today's demanding players. Ampeq offers three different models of guitar amplifiers: J-20, J-12T and SJ-12T. The J-20 is 20-watts, all-tube and point-to-point wired. It features three 12AX7 tubes and a dual 6V6 output stage that operates in a fixed biased mode.
