Bass Speaker Cabs

Aguilar has taken the bass cabinet to a new level with their DB and GS Series. DB bass speaker cabinets employ 13 ply Baltic Birch, Custom Eminence drivers, and Aguilar's custom horn and crossover. These cabs have a clear, focused midrange and extended lows and highs. They also have the aggressive midrange to punch through a loud band while maintaining the full-range, musical sound that is the Aguilar signature. There are over a half dozen bass cab models to choose from in the DB Series. The GS Series bass speaker cabinets are the perfect companions to Aguilar amplifiers. All GS series cab models feature cast-frame drivers, phenolic tweeters with an integral phase plug, and variable tweeter level control. Neutrik Speakon and quarter inch inputs, seven ply void-free Philippine mahogany construction, and interlocking corners are also standard on all GS Series bass cabinet models.

The Ampeg bass cabinets come in the Heritage Series, Classic Series, Pro Series and "B" Series. The Heritage Series is Ampeg's top of the line bass speaker cabinet.The Classic Series features Super-Valve Technology (SVT), pioneered in the 1960's, to offer top performance in a bass cab. The Pro Series bass cabinet models are lightweight and portable. The B Series bass speaker cabs offer custom LF drivers and compression horn drivers with level control.

Hartke (Samson) makes several different models of bass speaker cabinet. The Hydrive Series cab uses patented Hybrid Cone Technology to produce a speaker that uses an outside paper cone to push a warm, deep low frequency and an inner aluminum cone that produces mids and highs that cut, yet still remain sweet. Harke's AK Series bass cabinets feature traditional paper cone drivers for that classic rock tone. The VX (Very Extreme) Series also use traditional paper cone drivers. Each cabinet has a proprietary design horn loaded high frequency transducer. The XL Series bass cabs are Hartke's professional line featuring aluminum-cone high frequency and bass drivers.

Ashdown Engineering offers a variety of bass cab models. Their Valve (tube) Series features the Little Bastard bass cabs in 1 x 12 or 2 x 12 configurations. The Classic Series offers the Neo bass cabinet models seven different speaker configurations, with or without horns. The ABM EVO III Series features five bass cab models from one speaker (300W)up to eights speakers (1200W). The US Series bass cabinets offer massive performance in five professional models. The MAG EVO II Series is built for the semi-pro.

Carvin offers two series' of bass speaker cabs; the BR Series and the Pro Series BRX. Carvin's BR bass cabinet series is available in configurations ranging from 2 x 10 to 8 x 10, as well as 15" and 18" models. These bass cabinets come equipped with standard woofers and lightweight Neodymium drivers with titanium HF drivers capable of handling 400W to 1200W. Carvin's  Pro Series BRX bass cab models are equipped with lightweight Neodymium drivers with titanium HF drivers capable of handling 600W to 1200W. 

The Epifani UL Series bass speaker cabs are made from lightweight Italian Poplar and employ an internal bracing design that would make a traditional bass cabinet too heavy for one person to handle. This material allows for sturdy bass cab construction, more precise cabinet tuning, and further reduces sound-damaging resonance. The UL Series Concert bass cab models are loaded with high performance neodymium drivers. The crossovers are made from polypropylene capacitors, 18 gauge inductors, and sealed 1/4" phono/Neutrik SpeakOn connectors. The Epifani Performance Series bass speaker cabinets are tuned for a more "classic" tone than their UL Series and deliver thick lows with a crisp edge. Construction materials include 17 ply Baltic Birch cabinets, polypropylene capacitors in the crossovers, Neutrik SpeakOn connectors and steel magnet drivers.

SWT bass speaker cabinets come in four models. The Goliath Junior offers the legendary SWR Goliath sound in a bass cabinet that fits in most trunks or back seats. Perfect for small venue gigs, rehearsals, monitoring or as part of a two enclosure system it now comes with 400 watts of power. The Goliath Senior bass cab is a single-enclosure professional-quality rig with a recessed top handle, tilt-back design and heavy-duty casters. The Megoliath bass cabs are triple-ported for incredibly low frequency response (-3db @ 37Hz), and are specially designed to emphasize the right midrange frequencies for rock players. The "Son of Bertha" bass cab features a 1x15 speaker that delivers extra fullness with the speed and clarity of a two speaker system.

Mesa Boogie features four bass cabinet models. The Powerhouse bass cab offers "tilt & roll" transportability, wattage ratings of 300, 600, 900 and 1200, 4 or 8 ohm impedance, and 2x10, 4x10 6x10, 8x10, 1x12, 2x12, 4x12, 2x15 formats. Vintage Powerhouse cabinets offer the same features in a vintage design. The Scout Bass Radiator cabs feature special features like a unique down-firing Passive Bass Radiator System driven by ultra-light Neodymium Speakers. These speaker cabs come in 300 watts, 4 or 8 ohm impedance, and 1x12 or 1x15 formats.

Gallien-Krueger offers four series' of bass speaker cab models. The Neo Series cabs are lighweight for easy transportability and feature GK’s Paragon cast-frame Neodymium loudspeakers. The MBX series bass cabinet enclosures feature GK’s Paragon ceramic magnet loudspeakers. RBH Series bass cabinets are equipped with GK’s unique Horn Bi-Amp System. The MBE Series bass cab models offer an ultra compact design and exceptionally light weight, perfectly complimenting GK's MB Series heads.

Fender's line of bass speaker cabinets includes Bronco, Pro Series, and the Rumble Series.

Kustom offers two series' of bass cab design. The Kustom G-Series is a professional quality line of bass cabinet and comes with two, four or eight 10" speakers, or one 15" speaker. Kustom's Deep End cabs, referred to as their "Rock Solid" bass cabinets, come in the same configurations as the G-Series.
