Alberico, Fabrizio
Fabrizio Alberico builds fine acoustic guitars that identify with the Arts & Crafts design movement of the early 1900's. The design of the his steel-string guitar headstock evolved from a concern for proper orientation of the posts to allow the strings to remain as parallel as possible from end to end. The veneer on the back of the guitar's headstock is aesthetic and provides additional strength to this normally weak area. The double veneer also reduces the possibility of the headstock breaking off at the nut as a result of an impact.
