Jay Lichty produces handmade acoustic guitars and ukuleles in his shop in Tryon, NC. Each guitar is a one-of-a-kind instrument, custom built to your specifications. Jay builds acoustic Dreadnoughts, OM's, Parlor Guitars, and Tenor and Baritone Ukuleles..When placing an order Jay will discuss everything from tonewood, to bindings, to resette, etc. Woods used for the building of a Jay Lichty acoustic guitar include Brazilian Rosewood, Sycamore, Chechen, Ancient Kauri, Koa, European Beech, Cocobolo, Bubinga, Claro Walnut, Koa, Pau Ferro and more.

Herda are professional quality flat-top guitars crafted by husband and wife Marek and Monika Herda. Attention is given to high level of craftsmanship, acoustic performance and quality materials. Every step in construction is done by us, with no parts or work outsourced. Our production of guitars is small, we have capacity for building about 4 guitars a month. It allows us to give individual attention to every instrument. 

Marc Maingard has his shop in South Africa. Stephen Stills is just one of his many customers. Marc offers many models of acoustic guitar, including his Mermaid, Grand Concert (12 and 14 fret), Orchestra, Dreadnought (12 and 14 fret), OOO Model, Lucas York, Parlour, Classical models, a Classic 10-String, an acoustic Bass, Jazz guitars, electric guitars, 12-string models, violins, and some exotic instruments.

Michi Matsuda learned his craft from the legendary Ervin Somogyi. It has been said that Michi can "make wood melt". His acoustic guitars offer unique designs. Models include the Style M1 (modified OM), Style M2 (modified 00), a Nylon strings model, a Flamenco crossover model, and the Style Mini.

Jordan McConnell works out of Winnipeg. He studied in Spain with Jose Romanillos and now builds both acoustic steel string and classical guitars. Jordan is also an accomplished player.

Michael Greenfield builds acoustic guitars and draws his inspiration from such luthiers as Grit Laskin, Linda Manzer, Ervin Somogyi, Bryan Galloup, Tom Ribbecke, Julius Borges, Jeff Traugott, Kevin Ryan and David Berkowitz. Michael offers steel string, classical, and baritone guitars. Fanned frets and elevated fretboards are available.

Jason Kostal is an acoustic guitar luthier, offering a Modified Dreadnought, an Orchestra Model, and a Jumbo. Jason studied fingerstyle guitar at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Luthier Kent Everett first introduced Jason to guitar building and he eventually went on to the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery.
