Ibanez Electric Guitars
Ibanez offers a dozen different electric solid body guitar models, ranging from models with thin necks and hard-edged rock and metal tones, to mahogany body double humbucker models for tones that sound great from jazz to rock. The ash body of the FR Prestige model brings punch to the midrange tones, while the "Tight-End" bridge provides improved string vibration and a more comfortable playing capability. Ibanez also features their Signature Artist Series electric solid body guitars that include guitar models designed for such great artists as Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, Matt Bachand, Noodles, Andy Timmons and many others. -
Ibanez Bass Guitars
As with their electric solid body guitars, Ibanez offers many different solid body bass guitar models to choose from. They also build two acoustic bass guitar models. Their SR model features a thin, fast neck with Bartolini pickups, a variety of finishes, and many various models to cover the entire price spectrum. Their boutique bass guitar models, or BTB models, use well-selected body materials, a 35" neck scale, deep cutaways, and "neck-thru" construction for excellent balance and beauty. BTB775 and BTB776 models feature beautifully figured Poplar Burl tops. The JTKB model offers a warm, smooth vintage sound, and the Artcore Bass model has a hollow body for players that desire an acoustic tone. Signature Series bass guitars are offered in Peter Iwers, Sharlee D'Angelo, Mike D'Antonio, Paul Gray, Gary Willis, and many other players models. -
Ibanez Hollow Bodies
Hollow body electric guitars cover the spectrum from jazz to rock-n-roll and Ibanez has over half a dozen models to choose from. Signature Artist models are offered in George Benson, Pat Metheny and John Scofield designs. Ibanez's Artcore Custom model features a maple body and a maple/walnut set-in neck. The AK model is a large hollow body guitar for jazz and blues tones with spruce tops and wooden bridges. The AS model is a semi-acoustic guitar with the pickups mounted into a sustain block to increase sustain and eliminate feedback. The AF is a traditional full-hollow body electric guitar with no sound blocks built into its construction. The AFS is the same shape as the AF model, but its body depth is one inch thinner. It also comes with a vibrato with roller saddles to eliminate tuning problems. -
Ibanez Acoustic Guitars
Ibanez offers ten acoustic guitar models to choose from. The Artwood is their flagship model and comes with an Engelmann spruce top. Acoustic-electric models are available with Fishman pickups. These guitars come in dreadnought and single cutaway grand concert body styles. The arched-back Ambiance Series are designed for stage performance. They feature quilted and flamed maple tops, spruce tops, Fishman electronics with onboard tuners, and come in 12-string and left handed models. Ibanez's Sage models are built for first-time guitar buyers and come in dreadnought, grand concert and jumbo sizes. Acoustic/electric models are available. -
Ibanez Amps & Electronics
The Tube Screamer Amp from Ibanez features effects built into the head for overdrive tube sounds that includes a foot switch function. The Promethean is a workhorse amp that features a compact body for musicians who move from one venue to the next. The Mimx amplifier can give you warm vintage tones as well as heavy modern tones with overdrive and distortion capabilities. The Tone Blaster Extreme has a parametric mid EQ that allows the player to dial in any tone they are looking for. The gain control in the normal channel can be dialed in for jazz tones to crunchy, overdriven rock-n-roll tones. Rehearsal Rings are offered as well, featuring compact, lightweight, inexpensive designs with big tones for bass and electric guitars. Ibanez also offers Tube King distortion pedals and Tone-lok effects pedals. Signature effects, such as the Paul Gilbert AP2 Airplane Flanger and the Steve Vai Jemini Distortion Pedal, are also offered. -
