History of Rickenbacker
Rickenbacker was founded in 1931 by Adolph Rickenbacker and George D. Beauchamp. Played by Hawaiian musicians in the 1930s to jazz bassists of the 1990s, by the Beatles, Tom Petty and Byrds, to the most-current music of today, the ringing sound of Rickenbacker still continues to define music. The early history of Rickenbacker covers the time period between 1931-1953. The modern era of the company spans from 1954-present and covers many of the artists and music that we all know. -
