Harpists who require a larger than standard range will be drawn to the Storm King 40 string, which offers a full extra half octave of bass range. The Niamh 27 string harp combines the powerful, rich voice of a full-sized harp with the portability of a therapy harp. It is a lap harp designed for the stage.

Traditional historic Celtic or gothic styling, even ancient Jewish styles are available. The electric harps can be built in any size, style, and number of strings, from 19 to 45. It is a smaller, lighter tension version of the popular Raven model. The Tall Gothic Harp is 62” and is the tallest, heaviest model. The Seang 30 is a downsized version of a Luchair with four bass strings removed. It is just under 44 inches high and weighs less than 15 lbs. Custom harps are also available.

R Harps
The R Harp line consists of four designs for the novice as well as the professional. The Merlin is the result of twenty years of harp building and three years of research and development. The goal was to make a very large sounding harp in the smallest package possible. The Merlot is a Gothic-style harp with light string tension and very long scale lengths. An easy touch produces a rich sound. The Merlittle's sound is notably big. It features a convenient built-in stand. In its elevated mode Merlittle's stand remains stable even when left freestanding on carpeting. The Gothic 22 travel harps are built for the traveler. Poet Kate Makkai toured Europe with a knapsack and one of these harps.
Random Sound Musical Instruments

The removable stand allows it to be adjusted to varying heights. The Harmony Sensory Harp is modelled after the Reverie Therapy Harp and the Waking Spirit Sensory Harp. These instruments create melodic musical sounds to help stimulate, relax, and comfort individuals or groups.
Tim Hampton Harp Maker
Tim Hampson offers his Emma Elizabeth, a Welsh Triple harp strung approximately two octaves light. It can be custom made to fit the owners requirements, strung for left or right handed players, made to a smaller scale, in different woods and different finishes. Tim also makes an Arpa Doppia Italian harp with 56 gut strings, 29 diatonic strings with four octaves from C to C, and 27 chromatic strings. He makes a pedal harp called the James Anthony. The rear doors on the soundbox (operated by an eighth pedal) were fitted to most original instruments, which creates a swell or vibrato effect when the pedals are moved up and down. He also makes two models of Clarsach, the 'Ossian' and the 'Dalriada', based on clarsachs made for the newly formed Clarsach Soceity in the 1930s and 40s.

The string action of the Corlieu supports both light touch and firm touch, allowing for a comprehensive dynamic range. The Aberdeen Meadows Harp is made to be large in both voice and stature.
