TRAKKER is a high quality Single Channel Discrete Class A Compressor Limiter. It functions either as a musically transparent compressor or as a vintage compressor - limiter with selectable hard or soft knee. The STC-8 is a high quality stereo compressor combined with a remarkably dependable peak limiter, providing overload protection critical to digital recording and broadcast transmitters.

Drawmer offers the DSL424 TwoPlusTwo Dynamics, a four channel comprehensive toolbox capable of solving the most complex dynamic problems. Incorporated in the 1U package are two industry standard frequency conscious noise gates and two soft/hard knee compressors with variable threshold limiting. The DL441 Quad Auto Compressor/Limiter captures four channels of Drawmer's DL241 'Auto Compressor' in only 1U of rack space. The inclusion of new 'automated' circuitry allows the engineer to control both the dynamic range and 'absolute' peak level of the program instantly.

The Distressor is an automatic gain (or volume) control device designed for pro audio applications. Basically, it electronically controls the volume of just about any source in a very pleasing, and "musical" manner. This type of device is often called a "limiter" or "compressor" by audio industry people. It is designed for use in recording studios, live sound situations, movie sound production, and radio broadcast production.

The TUBE-TECH CL 1B Compressor is an optical, all tube based compressor targeted at single-track studio recordings: It is equally suited for delicate vocal recordings as well as critical instrument recordings such as lead guitar and drum solos. The LCA 2B is a tube based two-channel unit with an independent compressor and limiter per channel.

The original Universal Audio 1176LN designed by Bill Putnam was a major breakthrough in limiter technology – the first true peak limiter with all transistor circuitry offering superior performance and a signature sound. The Compounder is a Class A custom VCA compressor design derived from the legendary Red 3 Dual Compressor/Limiter. This custom VCA design results in superb sound and very low distortion.

The Langevin ELOP® Limiter principle of operation is based around using a rectified sample of the audio to shine an LED (Light Emitting Diode) onto an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor). The photo-resistor in combination with a fixed resistor simply act as a changing voltage divider to attenuate the signal.

The TCL-2 offers a Twin Topology™ Stereo optical compressor/limiter with unprecedented sonic purity & integrity, and a triode 300 V vacuum tube signal path or all discrete J-FET solid state signal path. Both topologies are entirely transformerless, high voltage, pure Class A.

The Summit Audio DCL-200 is a dual channel compressor/limiter with stereo linking capabilities.
