Signal Processing Converters

Weiss Digital Audio offers signal processing converters in its gambit series. The DAC1-MK2 is a stereo 24 bit / 96khz D/A converter utilizing two converters per channel with 4 switches for input selection. The ADC2 is also available with an optional firewire connection and analog or digital input.

TheDA2002 by Lavry Engineering is a digital to analog converter. Product features include fixed output levels suitable to drive RCA jacks, multi-bit architecture with 24 bits, increased low level accuracy, automatic calibration and absolute polarity inversion as well as balanced and unbalanced internal jumper configurable outputs.

Mytek Digital’s Stereo96 Series converters consists of two 1/3 rack units- the Stereo96 ADC and the Stereo 96 DAC. The Stereo96 ADC features 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96kHz internal sampling frequencies as well as 120dB dynamic range, 24 bit resolution, wordclock output useable as hi-end house clock and switchable precision 10 turn-trimpots or input gain knob. The Stereo DAC features jitter free operation, transparent high current, high performance headphone amp and assignable volume control.

The DAC1 PRE is a reference-quality stereo pre-amplifier, headphone amplifier, and computer audio playback device, incorporating the 24-bit, 192-kHz DAC1 digital-to-analog conversion system. The 88192 A/D and D/A Converter is designed for the rigors and complexities of today's hi-definition digital recording, post-production, and broadcast environments. This new multi-format audio converter provides eight (8) channels of AES/EBU and eight (8) channels of SMUX2 ADAT digital audio to and from the host at sample rates up to 192 kHz.

The HEDD signal processor features high quality 24 Bit A/D and D/A converters, 24 bit processing, adjustable triode, pentode and tape sounds, digital I/O, AES and S/PDIF, and external word clock sync input and output.

The LT-FW is a FireWire LSlot interface for the Lynx Aurora 8 and Aurora 16 A/D D/A converters.

The XLogic Alpha-Link Audio I/O range is a new family of fully featured multi-channel audio converters for studio, live and broadcast applications. The three different models each feature our high quality 24-channel AD/DA converter circuitry. All Alpha-Link units can be used as standalone format converters, but used in combination with a Soundscape Mixpander PCI card they provide a powerful, highly flexible I/O solution for native PC-based audio workstations.

The 2192 Master Digital Audio Interface is the first product to combine Universal Audio’s long history of creating high-quality, vintage analog gear with its advanced digital technology. It features sample rates up to 192K, realtime transcoding between AES/EBU, S/PDIF and ADAT, and support for single and dual wire AES modes.

Sonic Core offers the A16 AD/DA converter. It features a 16 x XLR I/O.

The Genelec AD9200A converter outputs AES3 format with 24 bit word length and 192 kHz sample rate. Eight-channel balanced analog input is delivered via a 25-pin DB25 connector wired to the Tascam/ProTools industry standard pinout. Digital output consists of four XLR connections, each carrying two channels of AES/EBU audio.
