Acoustic Guitar Resources

Minor 7th is an online publication dedicated to reviewing non-mainstream acoustic guitar music. Within this site you will find reviews of new CD releases by acoustic guitar artists, as well as instructional DVD's released by such great artists as Laurence Juber. Artists are welcome to submit their CD's for review. This site not only reviews the most recent releases but boasts a large archives section of every review they have made in the past. Archives are separated by fingerstyle, jazz, folk, blues, ethnic, world, classical/flamenco, rock and pop. Lots of great stuff here.

There's info on repairs, technique, artists (amateur and professional), stolen guitars, transportation, insurance, luthiers, record labels...as far as the acoustic guitar world goes...you name it they got it.  Folksy cool site.

On this site you will find an ever growing collection of Articles, Reviews, and Interviews. There is also special pages with reviews of Fingerstyle Books and Videos. The Open Tuning Reference is a popular section and has a lot of great information, including tips for composing your own music. There is an extensive collection of Frequently Asked Guitar Questions and a Fingerstyle Guitar Forum where you are invited to post your comments or questions.
