Manouche Guitars offers a line of gypsy jazz guitars which includes the Modele Jazz, Modele Orchestre, 14 Fret D Hole, and Concert. All of these guitars feature a Sitka solid spruce top book-matched with laminated rosewood back and sides, body bindings in black with white-black-white purfling, and a mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard.Website: Manouche Guitars
Shelly D. Parks Gypsy Jazz Guitars:
Shelley D. Park guitars come with a list of standard features: Sitka spruce soundboards, solid Indian rosewood or big leaf maple back and sides, bound ebony fingerboards, zero frets, embossed brass tailpieces, floating bridges, and wood binding and purflings. Their Modele Elan features an early 30's Maccaferri style, D shaped soundhole and has a 640 mm scale length. Their Modele Elan 14 features a modified Selmer/Maccaferri design, D shaped soundhole, and has a 640 mm scale length. The Modele Encore features a late period Selmer style with a small oval soundhole and 670 mm scale length. The Modele Avance features a modified Selmer/Maccaferri design, D shaped soundhole and has a 670 mm scale length. Michael Collins Guitars:
Michael Collins offers three models of gypsy jazz guitars. The Grande Bouche features a wooden resonator behind the soundhole, walnut neck, mother of pearl face dots, ebony fingerboard, Adirondack spruce top bracing, Douglas fir back bracing, and solid rosewood bindings. The Petite Bouche features a walnut neck, Lutz spruce soundboard, East Indian rosewood back and sides, rosewood bridge, and ebony fingerboard. Michael Dunn Guitars:
Michael Dunn's line of gypsy jazz guitars consists of several models. The Belleville has a 670mm string length and uses medium to light density tropical hardwood for the back and sides. The Mystery Pacific features an internal soundbox and reflector. The Ultrafox contains an interior soundbox and reflector with a 670 mm string length. The Daphne uses spruce cedar for the soundboard and rosewood or satin wood for the back and sides. The Stardust has a string length of 640mm and is well suited as an all around guitar. The Fleche D'Or features Mediterranean Cypress wood on its sides and back. The Patenotte features mahogany sides and back with a cedar top. AJL Guitars:
AJL Guitars features a line of gypsy jazz model guitars. Their Model Jazz is similar to an original Selmer oval-hole. The Model 503 offers a little more bass response as well as a mellower high end over the standard oval-hole guitar due to its different bracing. The Andreas Oberg Gypsy Fire features Favino bracing, a slightly steeper neck angle, and a higher bridge. Their D-hole models can be ordered with an internal resonator and come in either 648mm or 670mm string length. The Andreas Oberg Deep Purple has a large Favino shaped body with a laminated birds eye maple body and solid european spruce top. The Model Eclipse comes standard with mahogany sides, back, and neck, AAA grade spruce soundboard, rosewood fingerboard, bridge, and brass tailpeace, and an antique amber finish. Royal Gypsy Jazz Guitars are built by Roy Eneas in the original Selmer style. The Model 1939 is made to be close to the same specifications as the original Selmer No. 503. The Model 1934 is based on the Selmer No. 350 and features an optional internal sound box.
