Gibson Banjos Catalog Discription Gibson Banjos Catalog Discription: Gibson Banjos Catalog Description is the brain child of Tom Biggs .This series of catalog descriptions was inspired by two events.  The first was his general lack of knowledge about some of the simpler styles of Gibson banjos such as the Style 0 and Style 1.  The second was a request for information on Gibson Style 100 banjos.  While the Style 100 are not prewar instruments, this request and the search for information on this request, led him to begin work on this series of pages.  The first installment of this series addresses the early instruments made in 1921, 1923, 1925 and 1927.
