Brauner Brauner: The VM1 has a completely natural, modern sound with the highest resolution of sonic detail. Its transparent open character is tailored for vocal and instrumental recordings. The Valvet produces excellent recordings even under difficult acoustic conditions due to its directional characteristics, leaning slightly towards hyper-cardioid while maintaining a high level of back rejection. The VMA unites two basic sound characters in one. Through simple switching, you can select between the very natural transparent sound of the VM1 or the full character sound of the VMX. The VMX offers the full character sound of the VMA in a single microphone and yields highest detailed resolution with a silky top end.Website: Brauner

Neumann Neumann: The M 147 Tube is a vacuum tube condenser microphone with cardioid characteristic. At the heart of this microphone is the K 47 dual diaphragm capsule, inherited from this model's now legendary predecessors, the U 47 and the M 49. The M 149 Tube is a variable dual-diaphragm microphone. The K 49 capsule – well-known from the legendary U 47 and M 49 microphones – is complemented with a transformerless output circuit design. The M 150 Tube takes many of the features from the original M 50 and incorporates them in a very modern microphone. With low self noise, a Titanium membrane and capsule, and transformerless tube amplifier, the M 150 Tube is not a reissue but an entirely new microphone in its own right. Website: Neumann
